Super upset because my best friend got me a summer Fridays lip balm and I loved it!! So when it finished I ordered this one on April 18th it’s now May 19th I have been using it since but it is still super full and today the applicator part completely broke off and got left in the cap. It takes me at least 6 months to finish a lippy like this. I’m super upset that it broke especially because of the price I paid for it.

The formula for this lip balm is really great. It feels hydrating and thin, and my lips don't feel like they're suffocating in heat. This balm also offers a lovely natural shine, nothing full glam, just something subtle to make me feel pretty. What I don't like about it is how the color is advertised. I bought the shade "Pink Sugar" and the product photos made it look like a darker pink, so I went ahead and bought it because I wanted something natural but also something that added color to my lips. However, I applied it and the color was almost clear. It was a very sheer pink, which was not what was advertised. The color is LIGHTER than my natural lip, so that was really disappointing as it did not provide the darker tint I was wanting. I wouldn't have purchased this product if I had know the color would be so clear. Overall, great formula, but very poor color advertising.

I held off for a while b/c I couldn’t justify the $$ but I finally purchased and I really like it. It stays on longer than I thought & it’s not sticky at all. I have a mocha color lip liner on with the vanilla SF balm. Im not a fan of plastering my face on a review, but hopefully it helps you see what the vanilla looks like. I gives a nice little shimmer but not overboard for a 50 year old 😉

This is my first Summer Fridays product so I was a little worried but it was perfect! It looks exactly as the photo, came well packaged and smells like a mint chip lol. I haven’t used the product yet but it wasn’t damaged at all which is what I was first worried about. I think this is perfect for the price. It’s a bigger lip butter than all the other brands I’ve tried. Definitely will buy again!
